Every year, Stage Door & More recognizes a performer who truly embodies everything our drama school stands for—passion, resilience, creativity, and an incredible team spirit. For 2026, we are thrilled to bestow our Student of the Year award upon the brilliant Mila Gilsenan! Day in and day out, Mila has shown an extraordinary commitment to her craft, bringing unwavering enthusiasm and artistic maturity to every single class and rehearsal.
Beyond her magnetic stage presence and natural talent, what truly sets Mila apart is her leadership in the studio. Whether she is tackling a challenging role, mastering precise staging, or offering a word of encouragement to a fellow classmate, her positive energy lifts everyone in the room. She approaches every performance opportunity with grit, grace, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.
Mila’s stellar progress over the past year has been nothing short of inspiring, making her a fantastic role model for the entire Stage Door & More family. We are over the moon to celebrate this well-deserved achievement with her, and we cannot wait to watch her continue to shine on stage in the years ahead!
