Your data, your rights

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Last updated: 2026

Stage Door & More Stage School ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with us — students, parents, guardians, schools, businesses and visitors to our website. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and share personal information.

Who we are

Stage Door & More Stage School is a drama and musical theatre school based in Kildare, Leinster, Ireland. Established in 1982, we provide weekly classes, seasonal camps, inclusive drama programmes, workshops, school outreach, corporate training, exam preparation and agency representation.

You can contact us at any time about this policy or your data by emailing info@stagedoor.ie or calling 086 058 3194.

What information we collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide our services and communicate with you. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Contact details: name, address, email address, phone number and relationship to the student (e.g. parent or guardian).
  • Student information: student name, date of birth, age group, school year, class or camp preferences, medical or dietary information, special educational needs, and emergency contact details.
  • Photography consent: whether you agree to photos or videos of students being used for promotional, website, social media or production purposes.
  • Enquiry and application details: anything you choose to share with us through contact forms, agency applications, school enquiries, corporate training requests or other correspondence.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

How we use your information

  • To process class, camp, workshop and club enrolments.
  • To manage student records and maintain our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • To respond to enquiries, applications and requests for information.
  • To provide safe, inclusive sessions, including any medical or accessibility needs you tell us about.
  • To share photos, videos and news about our productions, classes and events — only where you have given consent.
  • To send occasional updates about classes, camps, workshops, productions, news and other activities you may be interested in.
  • To improve our website, understand how visitors use it, and measure the performance of any advertising we run.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it work properly and to understand how visitors use it. We currently use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about page visits, traffic sources and user behaviour. This helps us improve our website and content.

In the future, we may use advertising services such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads or other platforms. These services may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to measure ad performance and to show relevant advertising to people who have visited our website. We will only do this in line with platform requirements and applicable data protection law.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Marketing communications

We may send communications from time to time to anyone who has interacted with our forms — for example, with updates about classes, camps, workshops, productions, news and other activities.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at info@stagedoor.ie. Opting out of marketing will not stop us from sending important administrative messages about a student's enrolment or safety.

How we store and protect your data

All personal data is stored in a secure database hosted in the European Union (EU). We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Access to our systems is limited to those who need it to provide our services.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary — for example, while a student is enrolled with us, for legal, accounting or safety reasons, or for historical records where you have consented to photography or production credits.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted third parties only when necessary, such as:

  • Service providers who help us run our website, database, email and analytics (e.g. Google, Supabase, email providers).
  • Advertising platforms if we run future campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok).
  • Legal or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal or safety obligations.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, for example for photography or marketing.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@stagedoor.ie.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, the law or how we use data. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the last updated year shown at the top.
