Looking back at our 2019 season, few moments carry as much pride as awarding the Stage Door & More Student of the Year to the immensely talented Claire Mulligan. Across every workshop, script reading, and major production throughout the year, Claire consistently set the gold standard for what it means to be a dedicated young performer.
Claire’s versatility on stage made her a standout in every role she tackled. Whether taking on high-energy dynamic numbers or quiet, emotionally resonant character beats, she commanded the spotlight with a natural maturity that inspired her castmates. In the studio, her work ethic was relentless—always arriving fully prepared, ready to dive into scene work, and eager to refine her technique.
Beyond her individual talent, Claire’s generosity as a teammate made her a true cornerstone of our Stage Door family in 2019. Honoring her with this award was a celebration of her passion, grit, and the vibrant spirit she brought to our school every single day.
